The needs of the world around us are open challenges. They call for us to design perceptive products that can create social change. Here at Design:Impact Awards, we call this kind of design-thinking ‘Effectivism’. Our mission is to recognize, support and promote visionary and transformative products and help them impact as many lives as possible.

A design movement that advocates efficient and sustainable product design for social change.
Social change happens when the right design finds the right degree of support on both financial and promotional fronts. That’s why we support transformative design with financial grants, advocacy, mentorship and seed capital.
At different stages of the selection process, shortlisted participants get to engage with a team of design, social innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship experts through workshops, bootcamps and interviews. Our goal is to add value to the projects of all deserving participants.

In the course of the last 30 years, we at Titan Company have dedicated our efforts towards placing exemplary design in the hands of generations of Indians. Through it all, a cornerstone of our work has been our commitment to the needs of society.
Tata Trusts has been catalysing transformational change in India with a focus on sustainable development through innovation, since the early 1900s. Today, spread over 17 states and 170 districts across the country, programmes supported by the Trusts reach out to millions of households through an efficient network of 450 plus partner organisations.
Now, with Design:Impact Awards, we together aim to celebrate product design that brings about social change by using our design prowess and social sector acumen to help innovators make an impact wherever they are needed the most.
